The highlight of my Griffith experience so far has been the study abroad opportunities that Griffith has. The university has networks in so many countries that you're practically spoilt for choice as to where you want to temporarily study. It's such a good experience, and Griffith has really nailed all aspects of getting students to have a broad network of opportunities.

Griffith offers many support services that have helped me adjust to university life. The provided orientation activities helped me learn my way around the university, and student admin were very helpful with fixing any enrolment issues that I had.

What I enjoy most about living in Queensland, Australia is the amazing weather and beautiful beaches. There is always something to do and you never get bored over the weekends. There is also a strong fitness and sports culture with people exercising everyday. The food is also affordable and delicious.

The highlight of my Griffith experience so far is definitely my exchange to Plymouth University. This program allowed for me to cross the globe and complete courses I wouldn't have had access to otherwise. In conjunction with this, I have been able to create an international professional network with industry professionals.

As a Griffith Mate, I love helping students settle in to life in Australia and university. The Mates are such a wonderful, tight-knit family and are always a friendly face on campus. Not only is it an amazing opportunity to make new friends, but the experiences and leadership skills I have gained are immensely useful in improving my employability.

"I am currently a Griffith Mate and Welfare Student Leader, which have both allowed me to build on my leadership skillset as well as show how important teamwork is in a social setting. It has also allowed me to meet new people and build friendships and networks I didn't have before joining them."

"Queensland has the right mix of great weather, nature at your doorstep and city life without having the hustle and bustle of Sydney or Melbourne. Where I am located in the Scenic Rim it is just a short drive to the Glasshouse Mountains, Noosa and the Sunshine Coast. A quick trip in the other direction offers white sand beaches of the Gold Coast and the mountains in the Gold Coast Hinterland."

"I’m so glad that I decided to study at Griffith! I’ve had so many life-enriching experiences on top of receiving a great education; joining the Griffith Mates and making friends from all around the world, meeting the Dalai Lama, going on a cultural exchange to Peking University and networking with international delegations, allowing me to develop much further than the degree alone could have."

As an individual, I am motivated to be the best that I can be and never stop wanting to challenge my skills and myself."
