I'm extremely grateful to have received the Griffith University and Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Scholarship (100%) which has helped me in more ways than I had ever imagined. I really enjoyed the online course, I thought it was well arranged. With Griffith you get it all - the University offers a safe and supportive learning atmosphere. If you want to study with Griffith, you will get more than just a degree.

The University staff has responded quite well to online study and have nicely adapted the learning materials and assessment structure to suit the online environment. Help links and videos on the Uni website have been a great resource as well if you're facing any issues.

Griffith's support services helped me to develop my skills and realise what I am actually capable of. They gave me exposure and the opportunity to participate in many events and helped me in developing my connections to the industry heads by being their mentees.

I’ve been a part of Griffith Mates for a year and a half and to be honest it has been one of my best experiences at Griffith. As a Mate I got the opportunity to be an event manager, I got introduced to so many different people from diverse backgrounds and I could also drastically improve my linguistic skills as my native language is not English. Being enthusiastically part of volunteerships I ended up working for Griffith as a student partner, trust me being staff and a student in your uni has its own advantages.

The various services provided by Griffith have helped me in improving my communication skills and interpersonal skills, and meeting new people and interacting with them through various activities happening on campus.

I have always wanted to get out of my comfort zone and explore the world and the different cultures it has to offer. That was the main reason why I decided to come to Australia. Griffith University has been known to have the best mix of all cultures combined, which is why I decided to join Griffith.

Griffith's support services made my transition to Australia and its culture very smooth as help was always available as soon as I needed it. I clearly remember being worried about the different education style in Australia, especially referencing, but so many resources were available to guide me through it. I chose to study at Griffith because it has industry-based programs with a lot of opportunities to gain practical experience during the degree.

"I first heard about an opportunity at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games through the School of Medicine. It has definitely been a unique experience. I worked mostly in the Athlete's Village Polyclinic at the front desk with awesome hospital and clinic receptionists. I shadowed emergency doctors, sports physicians and general practitioners and spent time learning how to read x-rays and CT scans from radiologists. It was the people I met during these weeks that made my experience particularly special!"

The support systems have always been like a guiding path especially during the first trimester of the university. They helped in almost everything that concerned the mental, physical or educational areas.

Griffith has SRC who provide legal support and free food, movies almost everything with no T&C. And we have Student Admins who are available to assist you at every step of your career.
