"Northwest is great in so many ways. It is in a small college town very conducive for learning while still being close to the big cities like Chicago and Omaha. The scenery is so beautiful especially during Spring and there is always something interesting to do on campus. Furthermore, the cost of attendance (tuition) is very affordable. As such, I now see Northwest as home and regard myself as a part of the Northwest family."

"It’s a very big opportunity for a non-Australian student coming here. The Destination Australia scholarship set me up on a totally different path. I couldn’t see myself as a mining employee 10 years or even 5 years ago but now that I’m here, it is a totally different experience. I have loved every part of this opportunity as it was so interesting and rewarding. Curtin Student Services were especially helpful, not only with getting me to Australia but also helping me prepare for my career. They were incredibly friendly, and I felt like this was the team that could help me throughout my whole journey."

Most of my units have applicable real life case studies and most of the course work is very hands on. I also stayed on campus for my first year and it allowed me to meet fellow international students new to Perth and Curtin, so we helped each other settle in!”
